Imagine an original, one-of-kind painting truly tailored to your taste, your environment and your lifestyle. Curious about commissioning a custom work of art? Here’s a peek at the process.
1. Set up a free consultation.
Reach out to Katie to schedule a time to chat. Some things to consider:
• What size painting would you like?
• Where do you intend to hang this work?
• Are there certain colors you would like featured? Any you want to avoid?
• How do you want the painting to make you feel?
• Are there specific works of Katie’s that you particularly like?
• Are there any time constraints?
3. Check in.
Katie will build in a time to check in on the progress of the painting. At this point, small tweaks can be made to color, tone, etc.
5. Submit your payment.
The second and final half or your payment is due following your approval of the art.
2. Sign the contract.
Once you and Katie have agreed upon all the details including:
• the style of painting,
• the size of the artwork,
• the timeline for the project
• and the fee for the painting,
Katie will send a contract to sign via email. The first half of the payment will also be due at this time. (The second half will be due following the completion of the painting.)
4. Approve your painting.
Once the painting is finished, Katie will show it to you for your official sign-off. It’s so close to being yours!
6. Get your artwork!
Katie will ship or deliver the painting directly to you.
